New Directors Orientation in Oak Brook

Only a few days remain before the newly elected directors meet in Oak Brook. On Wednesday August 5, all first year directors will met at the headquarters for three quite busy days. The schedule will not leave time for tourism nor for farniente.
We will be briefed on many topics, including the International Presidents theme and programs, an overview of the headquarter operations and of all the departments and our tasks as international directors.
It will also be an opportunity to better get to know each other. We have a great team and I am looking forward to serve our association with my colleagues.
I will be flying to Chicago on Monday and take the opportunity of being already in Oak Brook on Tuesday for three personal meetings, with The IT division Manager, the Membership division Manager and the Program department Manager. As the schedule will be tight during the coming days, it will allow to discuss a few issues more efficiently.
Come back to this blog in a couple of weeks. During the flight back from Chicago, I will report on these orientation days and let you know about our headquarters in Oak Brook and what this coming year will be like.
